Delulu, a new escape model for Fort Night, came on line last weekend, because of its new close voice chat function, which allows for dialogue between players of any kind, whether or not a team is formed, while promoting social cohesion has led to a surge in discrimination and harassment, and the developer Epic Games has blocked thousands of accounts by the end of the weekend.
Since it went online, Delulu has had up to 126553 online players at the same time, and the model is based on the “Big Run” map. In terms of game methods, on the basis of the new “accession/exit” function, the player can form a temporary team with the person he or she sees — but the final winner is only one and betrayal becomes normal. When you approach other players, you can form an ad hoc group chat to develop strategies that are attractive to single-row players. However, the new function has led to a large number of complaints of discrimination. According to IGN reports, most of the conflicting experiences shared by game board players refer to prejudice based on “acoustic, age or sex”. Epic sent a message on platform X on 21 September reminding players to report irregularities and chat and revealing that “thousands of accounts have been blocked on weekends”.
The Reddit player experience is polarized: in the post entitled “The Delulu Experience of Women Players”, Forever Winter13 wrote, “Every game hears a terrible speech,” while Glitter Fox said, “Most things are normal, but there’s a team dedicated to killing women,” and PlayfulBus8433 rejected, “Men too, French children force their father to shoot.”
The Middle East server player, KatsukiNEO, pointed out that “Language guards have fled and close chats have become tools of discrimination”; Care Rarely added “at least three people in each of the O.S.O.s have abused the insulting term “N.” There is also a positive experience in negative voices: SpadesofDarkness says, “The society’s fear that players don’t expect, but they reap the best of times”; meemii8 shares the sweetest experiences of “Risking with their teammates in the Total Utility of the Sea”; and racdcp exclaims that there are too many cute children who want to protect them from bias.” Epic has not yet announced whether Delulu will become a resident model, which will reopen this weekend, and it remains to be seen whether the continued ban will improve player behaviour.
