There’s a security gap in the game rating system in Indonesia, and the ending of 007: The First Splash has been leaked.

The Indonesian Game Rating System (IGRS) was reported to have serious security gaps, resulting in the release of unpublished video games and the leaking of thousands of developers ‘ mailboxes. This includes an hour-long live demonstration by IO Interactive, ” 007: The First Splash ” , which also includes a picture of a suspicious ending.

The leaked footage also included the unpublished content of the new series of ” The Sword of God ” under the banner of the Mandea Palace, ” EinGrant: Echoing New Voices ” , as well as animated images of suspected important stories. In addition, the letter of Assassin: Black Flag Reprint and the Devil’s City: Belmont Curse of Colomé are on the leak list, although no actual images are currently coming out. IGRS was also reported to have exposed the e-mails of thousands of game developers, including mailboxes from large studios and Mihau. The incident was particularly disappointing for IO Interactive. More than six weeks before the launch of its heavy work, 007: The First Splash, on 27 May, there was a vicious incident in which important dramas came to light and the studio was very upset.

Game developers usually submit game contents to rating boards, such as those involving violence, swearing or exposed footage, to help them rank the game. These elements should have been kept private between developers and rating agencies. The age rating manager for Riot Gomes, Nick McConnell, shared his views on the process through BlueSky’s post, saying that he could imagine that the IGRS team was small, “with a difficult task without sufficient resources”.

He wrote, “So, I’ve been in charge of the IGRS process and strategy in Riot, which is a long journey. The IGRS system works by filling out a short questionnaire, which gives you a rating, and by providing links to relevant clips and pictures to display violence, language, etc. As far as I know, IGRS is manually reviewing each submission (we shared it through a limited Google Drive link, and only recently received a request for sharing from different IGRS team members). I would not be surprised if certain links were widely opened during this interim audit.” He added: “The leak is not new. The IGRS process is still improving, and my advice to developers and distributors is to share only the most relevant submissions. I would also like to point out that the IGRS team, which is small and has very limited resources, is carrying out difficult tasks. Last year, I was able to meet with them after a few months of “harassment” at Instagram. My feeling is that it’s a small group of good people who do their part. But like Classin in Brazil, they face time-critical problems.” To date, the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs of Indonesia has not issued an official statement on this matter. It is known that the database system on the IGRS website has been rehabilitated. IGRS has also recently been reviewed for other issues, including the widespread rating errors on Steam.
